I snapped him up for Villa. We did well first season thanks to Carlton Cole - top scorer in EUROPE - but now he's back at Chelsea and it's not going so well. Got Pennant, Bowyer and Chopra. Angel dislikes me and keeps feeling homesick, but no club will buy him off me. Got Diego Tristan and Augustin Delgado, along with Vassell and Luke Moore. Got nearly £10m in the bank, so I'm trying to get a good defender (Yobo, preferably).

i just started my 2nd season with chelsea!!!

i won absolutly nothing in my first season, lost 2 Inter in thre semis of the CL, lost 2 arsenal in the league cup final, lost 2 man u in the fa cup semi's and finished 3rd in the prem, 5 points behind arsenal who won it, and 3 points behind united. dissapointing really. but i think im going 2 win something this season.

my first team squad(4-4-2)=

GK's: Cech, Pidgely
RB's: Ferriera, Johnson
LB's:Bridge, Dede
CB's:Terry, Carvalho, Ledley King and Michael Dawson
RM's: Wright-Phillips, Geremi
LM's: Duff, Robben
DM's:Mascherano, Makelele
AM's:Lampard, Cole and Totti
Strikers: Drogba, Kezman, Gudjohnson and Cavenaghi

I also got vanden borre, and this midfielder from liverpool called Francis Smith(awesome)

Let's keep it real. Fuck the big names, big cash signings.

Search for Lebohang a South African AMC/FC, he is quality. Cheap too although work permit may prove to be a problem.

Freddy Adu is a bankable asset once again & Freddy Guarin is a consistant performer.
BTW, if you can sign Vincent Kompany for anything under 20M, you've got yourself a bargain.

I've had the game for quite a long time now. I started at Wigan, won the Championship in my second season. Went 4 years in the Premiership, getting a Uefa Cup spot each year & reaching two League Cup finals and one FA cup final.

I lost both the League Cup finals to Aston Villa (two years in a row as well!) and never played the FA Cup final as Man United offered me the job following my application.

Now, it wasn't as if Man U were the biggest team in England because Liverpool & Arsenal were the most recent winners whilst Chelsea were winning the Champions League. As it was I had no games to play that season as Man U as the season had just finished.

Anyways, those fuckers sacked me in December because I was in 5th trailing the leaders (Arsenal) by four points. The thing was, I had 3 games in hand & had yet to lose a game & thus was pretty confident once I played those games I'd be top. Also, due to their poor season under Steve Bruce the previous year, Man U were only in the Uefa Cup that year (which, at the time of my sacking, they were still in).

Now I'm at Birmingham, & I'm ready to get my revenge on those fuckers by capturing the title in the next 3 years. Believe me it's going to happen!

i was thinking about gettin this game but i have a few questions:

Does the game have an editor???like cm 01/02[so you can update transfers and put lots off money at your fav club] :)

Also what is good about this game compared to the other cm games???

Yeah there is an editor.

If you are a follower of the series, you should know how it goes, each version upgraded in certain ways. Such as you can now come to a mutual agreement when terminating a player's contract so you don't have to pay him everything he get if he sat tight & saw out his contract.

One of my favourite new features is the ability to make comments about other managers. Let's say you have a big game coming up, you can play 'mind games' with the other manager, which will affect his (and your) players.

3rd season with West Brom and I'm in Champions league.
I'm gonna win the league this season though.

I've been playing this series of Games since 1990 when they brought out Championship Manager on the Amiga. Didn't have real player names then. And I've been following ever since. Champ man 2, champ man 1993, champ man 3, champman 4. Wicked.

It's a shame they lost the name champ man, and now call it football manager.

Getting him as Leeds for a structured £150k, ahead of Juventus. Assuming he can get a work permit.

I don't think you'll get a work permit. If you do, good for you, you've just signed a great player
