Sorry guys, i'm over doing it a little, but this is my last one for the night. I have a test tomorrow morning, it's 2am, i'm procrastinating and i have to start studying.

Being a Nirvana fan, i love the foo fighters. The band just astounded me simply because Dave Grohl (back in the nirvana days) used to record songs in his basement. And his first demo tape (which many of it's songs was in their first album) was all recorded in his basement and he played ALL the instruments. It's just brilliant. I remember hearing Marigold (on heart shaped box single) which was kurt cobain on drums and Dave Grohl on guitar, i was simply amazed at his talent. Dave grohl Just amazes me with his talent, great song writer, great vocalist, great instument player (one of the best drummers ever, great guitarist, pianist, base player). I just have alot of respect for him and his music.

Anyway, anymore foo fighter fans?

I have all their albums except Colour and the Shape which everyone tells me is their best :p

Hearing the first album was weird, because it was so different to Nirvana. I couldn't stop listening to There Is Nothing Left To Lose when I bought that.

I'm looking forward to the new album.

Dave Grohl lives near where I'm from. He still lives with his mom, she's a teacher. She substituted for one of my brother's classes back in the day.

Rather then creating a new thread, i'm bumping this:
What do u think of the new album guys. I love the acoustic CD, so chilled out. Though i'm not a fan of their single at the moment, the album itself is pretty good.

i dont have any of their albums and i used to be a big nirvana fan when i was younger.
One thing i do have for the foo fighters is respect, and be u posting this it made me have even more respect for them... it is easy to tell when someone/group are just generally good at playing/creating music and i like a lot of their songs. so i guess i am a fan to a certain extent but i respect them more than i am a fan of their music, just for the single fact that rap music is just what im feeling at this point in my life.. maybe one day ill buy me a foo fighters album in the future
