Back in March I filed a claim with my insurance company for an accident I got in. Unfortunately, due to health issues, work, and a vacation, I never got to follow through on it (meaning I never got to go get an estimate on the damage). I received numerous calls for 2/3 months by the insurance company, I assume to ask me if I was going to follow through. I was too busy with things to do anything about it though.

6 months later though, I want to get it fixed. Can I still follow through on that claim or is it too late? I don't want to call them up and feel like an idiot.

You're already an idiot for not doing it in the beginning. Otherwise, I don't know if you can. :)
