Wow, im probably one of the most open minded people when it comes to pacs music, But this shit just sucks. That wasnt tupac, that was stupid. The beat (if thats what you call it) gave me a headache. This is so fucking shamefull. Pacs music was about lyrics and the point he was trying to get across. There taking the wrong vocals and mixing them with beats that dont fit. There trying to mesh completely different styles. That would be like trying to take a muscle car motor and stuff it into a honda civic. This just makes me sad.

you made some good points, but i know this much... when i take the time to create a concept for a song, produce an instrumental for the song by myself, and then record and mix the song, chances are i didn't intent on some random stranger coming back years later and completely changing the sound, concept, and structure of the song.

some day the studio footage of pac might leak out and when it does i think a lot of minds will be changed. to see pac hear the letz fight og pre-production beat and go crazy over it saying it's one of the rawest beats ever and how he wants to rip it up kind of makes you wonder how he'd have felt to hear it remixed as it and others have been. seems to me that he didn't just spit over anything, so surely undermining his artistic decisions can't always be a good thing, no?

Does it sound like this one? I hate that annoying stick clapping sound it would be almost perfect without it, I love this track.

The remix has the clapping sound taken out and some of BCC are cut out too but the back ground echo sound should be kept in.

didn't take the time to listen to your uploads, but an interesting fact is that the letz fight verse was actually done in 5 takes, and the verse as we know it was actually done in three parts (plus a doubles layer done immediately after) because pac kept fucking up (probably because the boot camp people kept taking through the vocals). the sound man (kevin) also had to tell pac to "quit punching the mic so hard" because he was so juiced up. the boot camp verses were done in about a dozen takes since they kept fucking each other up. just some random tidbits.

How did Swizz Beatz, Bone Thugs N Harmony or any of the folks at Amaru not realise, at any time during the making of this record, that it is utterly shit?
Surely it came up at one point, like maybe Swizz and Bone were in the toilet, standing side by side at the urinals, having a piss and Swizz turned to Bone and said, "Hey Bone, do you think it's at all possible that this song we're making could be utterly shit?"
And Bone looked up at the ceiling from where he was taking a leak, squinted and sucked on his teeth for what seemed like an eternity before he lowered his head again, sighed "Nope, no it's not", shook it off, zipped up and left the bathroom with Swizz nodding his head in agreement, "I thought it wasnt"

Damn! And Swizz Beats used to be cool too.
