Fuck Facebook, you guys need to check out Trig.com, it's basically designed to promote musicians and has normal profiles and music profiles.

When you like something on a profile, you can trig it, which means you vote for it. Anything from a photo, blog, song, comment, etc etc. And people are ranked by the amount of trigs they get.

Artists also get 250mbs of space for music.
