and i guess you did an ok thing...breaking his nose was kinda going overboard...it makes it look like you were looking for some action rather than just trying to do justice....i think just taking him down and holding him woulda been good enough, but if getting him in the face and ultimately breaking his nose is what it took, then i dont see anything wrong in that....
