a lot of guys find girlfriends that are very much like their mothers in either appearance or behavior. or possibly both. while this is like i guess a taboo thing with guys, i actually had quite the mindblow when i realized a girl i was getting into a while back is just like my mother. small of size, large breasts, dark hair and a temper. my mother got all of those. now i know it's a thing like on tv shows, where if any of the characters get a gf/bf that is resemblant to their parents they freak out. and dealing with the whole thing becomes the plot of the episode. i don't remember where it was i heard it, i think one of those tv shows actually lol, this one guy said a great thing. your mother's the woman who's always been there for you when you need it, the one who always looked out for you and always helped you. the one who built the foundation for your way of dealing with women. she's the woman who molded you. what's wrong with wanting to find those qualities in the woman you're gonna spend your life with?
anyway, the human brain = patterns. you've seen and interacted with your mother so many times that when someone say the word "girl", "female" or "woman", your mother is gonna be a part of your immediate relation. for a man, his mother defines women for him. this is obviously gonna affect him when he picks a girl.
i know you didn't specifically say that it's the mother thing that's driving us, but it sounded like you wanted to make a point out of the fact that i am attracted to a woman my mother's age so it's like i'm attracted to my own mother. and i felt like i had to defend myself. there is no particular reason, it's just a mother has such influence on her child that it's gonna leave trails. mystery solved.
anyway, as for the age thing, there are many reasons. a 40 year old woman has more experience and knows her shit better, knows what she wants and how to put that across better. she probably feels safer in bed due to the extra experience, plus the fact that she's with someone "un-experienced" so that's gonna boost her confidence even more. she's done it enough times to know she's not supposed to just lay there and take it. her body is ripe. it's not normal in society to be with women that are twice your age. in fact, you look at some of humankind's early history and you'll see kings and emperors with 13 year old wives. look at animals. soon as a specimen is eligible for reproduction, it gets fucked and normally by one of the older males. right now i guess it's normal for girls to find guys that are a few years older. that's what it's been like say the last 50 years. when you stray from the norm, you have a "taboo", so to speak. fucking 40 year old women is no norm so i guess that makes it "taboo", which should further explain why it's exciting. to top it all of, the likelihood of scoring a grown woman when you're just a boy isn't all that huge. what do we know about humans and wanting what they can't have?
