i don't despise drink no, i don't mind people drinking, but when everytime you go out you see people fighting and hitting the crap out of each other, or picking fights for no reason cos they are drunk it is just annoying!

Like I said before, if we'd close gunshops at noon do you think the death toll is going 2 cut in half? If we keep every supermarket in the country open 24/7 there wouldn't be no more people starvin, right? This is nonsense. Obvisouly people can get drunken before 11 pm. Therefor it doesn't help.

And if you don't drink and hate people seening drinkin, then don't go to a bar.

Don't tell me I'm a murderer because I eat meat and you're vegetarian. Because I choose to ignore religion and you make it a huge part of your life etc. I hate pompous people who judge others for being different to them.

And I agree with The.menace, this won't effect the amount of drunken brawls, drunken crimes etc. The only problem I can see is that it will be more difficult to Police. If clubs/pubs all close at a certain time then they can get a large police presence to coincide with these times. If people are leaving at different times police will have to be visible from 10pm to about 4am.

The only issue isn't of drunken brawls, it's also of people drinking more and more if the clubs have rights to serve drinks all night. And that will lead to more drunken brawls are all times of the night. Scrath that, the issue is of more drunken brawls which will increase and be more difficult to police.

Guin crime isn't neccesarily spontaneous. You think someone goes into a gun shop specifically to buy a gun straight away before the guy who stepped on his foot gets on the bus.

Alcholic violence is only present when there is alcohol in the system. if drinks are being served at all hours then it is very convenient to maintain alcohol in your blood.

Well ken, maybe it's because you don't drink yourself. Believe me it would be better if those people don't drink as much they can before closing time but would drink as much as they want since there is no closing time. I'm sure about that. It's better to have a certain level of alcohol in your system all night then 2 have a peak right after 11 pm cause they guys had 10 shots the last hour before closing time.

that's not really a fair comparison, at all. don't get me wrong, i see no reason why they should stop serving alcohol after 11. but that comparison much reminds me of my own comparisons, which are equally bad

I know heroin addicts, and they aren't as the cliche suggests. I prefer people who are strong enough not to get addicted to a skanky smelly drug. But I don't preach to them. That's their choice and as long as they carry out their habit in an honest way, that affects no-one else I don't care. If they steal to keep their habit, that is wrong. But all the addicts I know have responsible well paid jobs, and that pays for their addiction.

I don't cause violence or get in brawls. And If I do, it's because someone else started it. But I'm a dick sober or drunk so don't blame licencing laws.

And I only mentioned religion and vegetarians as I have found from experience that these people are the most pompous, do as I do or you're wrong people I've ever met. Always preaching to me about how I'm wrong and they are right. And I don't hate on any particular group of people, I understand how religion helps people, but I don't need it at this point of my life, so I don't need people to preach about it in my ear.
As for people who don't drink, again I have no problem with that, just don't tar everyone with the same brush. Yes there are fights on a friday and saturday night. But wouldn't there be anyway when you have 2000 different people in 1 place? Alcohol encourages "Yob" behaviour, true. But not everyone who gets fucked wants to fight, all I wanna do is get pissed, have a good time and pull a bird.

If you don't like alcohol, why go to a pub? That's like me going to a church and complaining all they do is talk about christianity.
