Favorite underground albums

wuttup,

i been gettin into the underground alot lately.. i juss wanted to know what ur favorite underground albums are and why.. heres a few of mine in no particular order:

Brother Ali - Shadows on the Sun : Ali shows his range on this album, and his chemistry with his producer ANT is insane... I can listen to this album over n over again without gettin bored

Eyedea % Abilities - Fist Born : First time i heard this album i thought it was wack.. Then i went back and listened to it, and actually payed antention to the lyrics.. Eyedea's on some real phlilsophical shit

Vakill - Darkest Cloud : Punchlines or off the hook, and flow is on point. Not much more to say.

Honorable mentions:
Murs - Murs: 316
Pumpkinhead - Orange moon over brooklyn
Demigods - the gods must be crazy
Wordworth - Mirror Music
Sage Francis - Personal Journals
Immortal Technique - Revolutionary vol. 2 (only on the list cuz it was the first 'underground' album i heard and really got into_
Sandpeople - All in Vein
Atmosphere - Overcast
Mf Doom - Victo Vaugh - Vaudeville Villain (production was unique, gotta give it for that)
Eyedea - The Many Faces of Oliver Hart

I'll come up with a real list later, but I will say this, '06 has been a very good year so far for underground. Murs, Aceyalone, Dilated Peoples, and The Coup have all put out VERY strong records this year. And I won't even get into my love affair w/ the Gnarls Barkley record (but it's not really hip-hop).

non - phixion - the future is now (sick beats, inconsistent rapping)
Jedi Mind Tricks - all albums (SToupe always supplies crazy instrumentals and samples, verses are pure fight music)
Louis logic - sinamatic (don't know where this cat went but his first album was real solid)
sean price - all albums (my favourite underground rapper, enough said)
blueprint - really chilled and soulful
killa priest - maybe not truly underground but criminally slept on
diabolic - limited subject matter good flow
cage - hells winter (awesome album the imagery this guy uses is second to none)

will post more later.........

i like all the makaveli albums (makaveli 1, makaveli 2, makaveli 3 etc...) and D12:the undrground EP.
Everything you just said is unofficial except for Makaveli 1, which is DK7, which isn't underground.

The D12 Underground EP is just a compilation of old unreleased tracks made by fans.

DK7 is short for Makaveli the Don - Killuminati: 7 Day Theory.
