Film & TV Favorite movies that nobody has seen

just wondering, what are some of the best movies, or your favorite movies, that nobody has seen? here's a list of some of my favorites

Monster - a movie about female serial killer Aileen Wuornos, a very disturbed prostitute who murdered 7 men in Florida in 1989 and 1990, and was executed in 2002. while the film itself isn't exactly a masterpiece, Charlize Theron's fantastic portrayal of Aileen is a masterpiece of acting, one of the best acting performances i've ever seen. definitely a movie worth checking out if you haven't seen it

Frailty - a gothic-style thriller about a man who believes he is visited by God and told he and his 2 young sons must kill "demons," who look and act like normal people but are really evil. it's an interesting "whodunit" type of film, except that it's more of an "is this real, or is he insane?" type of thing with a great twist ending. it stars Bill Paxton and Matthew McConaughey (sp?), and was directed by Paxton.

In The Mouth Of Madness - a Stephen King-ish film about an Author whose books have come to life, and the insurance investigator who becomes part of the story when he visits a small town that isn't even on a map and is actually a fictional town created by the writer in his books. a very disturbing, trippy movie, and if you like Stephen King, you'll love this movie. it was directed by John Carpenter.

edit: Puff thanks for the idea of IMDB links, i'm stealing it :D

well 9 out of 10 people i've asked say they haven't seen it, and some have never even heard of it. Charlize won an Oscar for the movie, but it wasn't a blockbuster hit movie, it mostly slipped under the radar, like most of these types of dark movies do.

another good one is The Matador http://imdb.com/title/tt0365485/

a lot of people missed out on this movie, but it's definitely worth a viewing, just to see Pierce in a role that's completely opposite of James Bond, and definitely good for a few laughs

Stefan, The First Power is dope, i haven't seen that movie in ages

Rebound: The Legend of Earl 'The Goat' Manigault

Dope ass movie, and I ain't even into basketball that much. Basically, this dude Earl Manigault was the sickest baller ever, he could jump up and grab dollar bills from the TOP of the backboard and shit, he was a street baller, then he got addicted to crack in Harlem and never made it to the NBA. He ended up in Prison and when he got out, he turned his life around by holding basketball tournaments for street kids to keep 'em from turning to crime and drugs. It's fucking dope, Don Cheadle and James Earl Jones are in it. I would never have seen it had it not randomly been broadcast on Channel 5 (UK) about 3 or 4 years ago.

Shackles -http://imdb.com/title/tt0425406/

Was a pretty good movie, a little on the slow side for a bit, but pretty good. Nice to see D.L. Hughley in a different type of role.
