"Who the fuck is that? It's Ice Cube motherfucka
He's a maniac, no I'ma fool motherfucka
Old school motherfucka, blow through a motherfucka
What you heard about a nigga so true motherfucka
See I'm ugly and prettay, I'm polished and grittay
Shoot better than that nigga that tried to kill 50
See, niggaz get shittay when I come to their cittay
When I hit the spot that bitch they like -- she cummin' with me
Cause I got an ego big as TO, but I'm not an Eagle
Bitch, I roll with Rigo 'cause gangstas don't dance we boogie
I told you motherfuckas Kobe didn't take that pussy
Get money, get paid, you can beat that shit
Even if the DA is a piece'a shit
Colorado got movatos, don't eat that shit
Another White bitch lyin' on thee Black dick
I keep it flippin' like flapjacks, pimpin' like black 'Lacs
Give niggaz flashbacks, they sweaty as ass cracks
When I hit the tar mat, it feel like a carjack
Niggaz get out and vanish like Star Treks
So fuckin incredible, I'm so fuckin' credible
No matter what happen, I'll never turn federal
And that's my report comin' straight from Cali
Ice Cube is the shit on this motherfuckin' Grand Finale"
"I came here to curse the states like "Fuck you"
I cure for my sons with guns like I'm John Q
'n Denzel inhale the buddha-blessed smoke
Endorsed by the VLs, crips, bloods and folks
If I have to, I throw myself on the cross
My soul's lost - fuck it man, Jesus paid the cost
So I guess I tell a racista craka go on lay it down
If I die, I die high, blowing on the pound
If you die, you die twice, a neck full of ice
I'm hellbound on tryna save a black kid's life
But my tribe left a nigga on a quest like Phife
or Jarobi or a white bitch astray(?) like Kobe
But you will never know or and what I went through
That's why I'm quick to say 'suck a dick, bitch' and 'fuck you'
And I'm a tell the white kids the truth:
Their parents raped mine, now what the fuck they gonna do?"
The guy behind the first verse is the greatest west coast rapper of all time (bait), and probably the furthest-fallen rapper of all time. When he refreshed his career for the first time, he reached out to the popular sound of the time, put his imprint on it, and subsequently put out two incredible albums, one of hip-hop's best EPs, and another very solid album before he petered out.
On that verse, his most recent one - he sounds better than he has in a long time. He's got his swagger. His anger. And, as the bolded lines indicate, he's got a little bit of his militance back. That verse is dope. He pretty much outshines four of the best rappers out right now.
The second guy? He's involved with the popular sound of the day. A couple of years ago, he put out an album that is truly great. He's truly on some real shit. He's also a producer, involved with the popular sound of the day. He's made hits.
I don't have to finish this thought, do I?
If these two hooked up, what are the odds of the outcome being less than great?
