Thug Life Army’s latest record In the Shadow of an Icon (digitally released on November 13, 2007) is an album that represents 2Pac’s struggle as it was written. Though 2Pac does not make a physical appearance on the album, this release showcases over twenty-five talented artists that represent the same struggle that 2Pac had fought through. It is available for download on iTunes, Umusic, as well as many other digital retailers. In store hard copies of the album will be available nation wide on January 15, 2008, and will be distributed by Fontana/Universal/AMG on Thug Life Army Records.
