In an incredible turn of events, NASA scientists have confirmed that the water found back in March of 2004 is actually Evian water. The water bottle was found while Opportunity was searching for signs of past life in the Meridiani Planum.
"We have tested the water and it definitely tastes like Evian water." Stated Bill McEnite, a NASA scientist, "This leads us to the conclusion that not only was there life in the past, but that those beings were stupid enough to purchased bottled water. Our next test is to look for any signs of Starbucks."
"I'm so disappointed." Stated a man on the streets, Mr. Dumbass, "I always thought I was drinking water from France when I drink Evian. It turns out I've been drinking water from Mars? What a rip off!"
Scientists are now searching for any signs of previous Starbucks existence. "We think that if we find Starbucks, then for sure we know that life once existed in Mars." Stated Bill McEnite, "I just hope that their Starbucks had less choices then ours. I can never figure out what I want or even if I do, I have no clue how to order it."
Other scientists and conspiracy advocates doubt the existence of Evian water in Mars. "This is just a big conspiracy by Evian to improve their market share." Stated a conspiracy advocate who does not even trust himself, "That's not Mars. Those are pictures of the back yard of Evian Corporation. I have to go now, the black helicopters are coming after me."
President Bush was said to be excited about the confirmation of water in Mars, however, he was disappointed it had to be "water from those damn French people."
