Players always cheat for penalty.Why does that one have to stand out the most.I know,because its coming from Italian player which is what you want.Besides,its quarterfinals, theres no time for pity at that time.I'm sure many players would've done the same.

The only one i have seen doing it was someone from italy! Saying "there is no time for pity" is a least....fucking stupid.

Um how is it sounding like a child? If a team cannot proceed through to the final on fair merits then they shouldn't be there at all. To steal a penalty like that in the quarter finals of the world cup, and at the very last moments of the game was just complete bullshit. It was completely disgusting to watch that, seeing as Australia outplayed you Italians

On Italian football..I don't find it boring..but thats a difference of opinion. However Italian football is corrupt, the fact more refs have been suspended shows this.

Anyway I thought Bachaveli wanted France to win the WC because it was Zidanes last game/s?

I thought Italy were very good in the World Cup.I didnt find them boring. They were involved in a great semi final with Germany who are also a very good team.Italy v Ghana was also a grreat game.The final wasnt great.I agree that Australia were hard done by with that penalty but i think Italy would still have won if the game went to extra time.They were deserved champions imo.

And Zidane over reacted to those comments.Materazzi is a nasty piece of shit but those comments were childish and Zidane should have just ignored him or waited for the next ball and went in hard on him.Defenders are always going to be talking shit like that in a match.

As for Italian club football, its a disaster.Low standard and corrupt.It badly needs a makeover.It sad because i grew up watching great Italian club sides that played excellent football.

The only reason why I think Zidane reacted the way he did, because the comments were against his sister, who at the time, was in the hospital suffering from a very bad illness. So it got to him. Nonetheless.. Head butt or not, Zidane still is the king.

Most leagues are corrupt in Europe, Italy especially when AC Milan were pretty much handed much needed wins to win leagues ahead of Juventus. But national team wise I don't think they are boring to watch...that was my whole argument.

Juventus are the cheats.They won the European Cup in 1996 and half the team were on drugs.They have been handed scudetto's in the past as a result of dodgy refereeing decisions.That club has always been dodgy.

The fact is, the Italians are the perpetrators of so much bullshit, and that's why people dont like them. People dont like them because "they win" or whatever, people dont like them for the simple fact that they play dirty, they cheat, they act.
