Euro 2012 Qualification

I can't believe we won. We played like shit for 70 mins, then we pull 2 well placed goals out of our asses in 2 minutes. I can't wait for Bilic to leave, his tactics have been sickening. Whatever - 1 step closer to the Euros.

The trip to Israel will be a problem, and hopefully we can take the Greeks out in Athens and snatch 1st place.

we were shite though. any half decent opposition would have beaten us easily last night. Macedona are a poor side. I think our best hope is the play offs unless the Russians decide to go on the piss the night before we played them in Moscow like they apparantly did before their World Cup play off against Slovenia :)

we had a lot of players missing last night too though it must be said. I dont know what his problem is with giving Coleman a game. He was one of Everton best players last season. He should have put him on in the right wing in the second half. Cant believe is still on team as well. useless. O Dea is pretty poor as well. I mean, Celtic let him off on loan that said he is probably a better option than Majstorovic. John O Shea has serious concentration problems as well. i dont like having him at centre half.

O Dea is terrible. I'm not just saying that because he plays for Celtic but he's a very poor player. I agree with you about Coleman, he had a great season with Everton and even the year before with Blackpool. I thought he'd have definately have started.

Going forward Ireland have some very talented players. I feel they miss a centre back and central midfielder though.
 
Bobby, what did you think of Clinton Morrison when he played for Ireland? I remember he went through a patch of scoring goals for Ireland.

We beat WhiteRussia 2-0 away, which is a great result, since they were our contenders for 2nd place.

If we beat them on Tuesday, we will finish at least 2nd. We'll have an outside chance for top spot, depending on how Romania plays against France...
 
We qualified for the playoff stage at least after beating Israel 3 - 1.

Modric raped the net, 2 goals for Dudu. Nice to have him back.

Romania played 0-0 against France. We beat a 9 man Belarus 1-0 (I've never seen such a bunker, it's like they thought that we were Brazil)...
