Was the game actually played?I saw in news they said something like the lights went off in the stadium and then they didn't show the actual game so i thought they awarded France with automatic victory.

Ya I did, but then I downloaded Sopcast. (www.sopcast.org), they were playing the match and many others. Georgia didn't do all that bad. Their 3rd goal was an own goal, but they had many chances, just not the luck. If anything, it could have been a draw with luck on their side. Only thing I've noticed with Georgia, they have trouble finishing and their defense make silly mistakes. Midfield is pretty decent though.

Yea i just looked the stats on the net and the game did went on.Third goal the own goal..France apparently had brought Henry.That must've been nice experience for the fans back there.The way Italy has been playing after the cup,i wish we had faced them now instead later this year.We could have gotten some chance,a point or two.

Understatement yeah, he should enter weightwatchers instead of a pitch. And you're correct about Kuijt and RvN. I'm not a Kuijt-fan, he workes hard but never scores on the highest level. VBasten is going crazy, this has to go wrong very soon.

Jansen isn't that bad, he's just not up to this level. But with vd Vaart injured and Sneyder at home I guess he needed someone on such positions. Regardless, Jansen played very very poor last night. Practically every deep ball and cross went waaaay off.

Huntelaar was having a bad night. Didn't get many balls but he made no effort to come get the ball either.

Kuyt was typically hard working again, but with too little result.

Don't get me started on defense. Heitinga.. :sad: Luxembourg even got a few small chances because of stupid stupid stupid defending errors. Where was Khalid?! We need a defender or two that keeps their head cool instead of "defending out" with a sloppy ball through the mid. Christ, they learn you in the juniors never to do that shit :fury

Second half of the match we were hilariously poor. Only deep balls all the time. An affront. Such tactics work about 10/15 minutes after bringing a player like Vennegoor (strong header, strong lad) but after that the defense is sure to figure it out.

Totally uninspirational play.
