Bill Walton: I didn't know he could dunk.

He said that as Allen Iverson stole the ball and dunked on a fastbreak during the 3rd quarter of tonight's game. Now, Iverson had a play of the year in 1999, and it was a tip-dunk he did on Camby. Besides that, he's dunked on multiple occasions. My point is, Bill Walton is an idiot and should not be a commentator, along with 80% of TNT, ESPN, and ABC commentators.

John Madden has to be the worst commentator (for those that watch NFL), he's a good character and all but his comments insult my intelligence. I don't have any exact quotes but he's always going off on some obvious remarks like:

"you need good offense to win a game"
"speed is the key to running"

you get my point...

No, I've listened to Bill Walton long enough to realize that he's not sarcastic. What he was doing is indeed, commentating. He was trying to exagerrate the play, like most commentators do everytime somebody just scores a simple layup. "OH, what a great wrap-around reverse circus shot by "insert name". But, he just ruined it when he said that about Iverson. But, about your comment, it's really ignorant. Commentators aren't sarcastic, it's not a part of their job.

http://www.clintcam.com/barkley/

On the Lakers chances to make the playoffs: "I think the six, seven, eight, nine, and 10 seeds in the West are going to fluctuate a lot in the last couple months, but you can go ahead and plan your vacation after the regular season if you are associated with the Lakers."
Ainge: (to Barkley in the locker room) How is your back?
Barkley: Like your face. It needs surgery!

lmao. You sure you listen to games?
I was gonna include Barkley as an exception. He doesn't matter though, he's just there to entertain and predict who's gonna win what game.

"The Lakers will win this one tonight against the Heat". The Lakers lose. Barkley doesn't mention his prediction.

Now, give me an example of commentators being sarcastic, during NBA games. Again, Charles is not included in this.
