Did you hear about this? Apparently two emergency medical technicians on break in a coffee shop in NY refused to help a pregnant woman who collapsed on the floor. They said, "call 911," and walked out with their coffee and bagels. The woman died.

Yeah, if you're just doing that job for the pay, you shouldn't be doing it. You shouldn't be allowed to do it. There are some jobs that are just more than jobs. They're commitments. I have a friend who's a fireman. One night a bunch of us were out clubbing when someone came in and said there was a fire a couple of blocks down. My friend took off like a shot to help out. Imagine a soldier in Iraq not helping the members in his unit being shot at because he was on break. Or the Secret Service not protecting the President because they were on break when an attack occurred.
