With Eminem returning with another album do you think Em will pass up 2pac as the top selling rap artist of all time? Eminem is 33million in the U.S. and 75-80mil worldwide. 2pac is 36million sold in U.S. and 75-80 worldwide.

I don't really know where the worldwide sales numbers come from. But with Eminem's popularity still high and more albums coming and pac's vault running low (and album's like "Pac's Life", it seems like a matter of time before Em passes him.

One more thing, have any of pac's album's been re-certified by the RIAA to reflect any sales. For example, "All Eyez" has been 9x platinum for over 10years now.

i thought eminem already passed 2pac as the top selling rap artist.

i think they stopped keeping track of 2pacs old album sales.

Yeah, I dont think they will ever have an accurate count of Pac's album sales because back in the 90's, I doubt the world wide sales were kept up to date or even kept at all for some countries.... Plus the lack of revisions to the numbers of AEOM, MATW, etc..., will probably make it very difficult to know exactly the real total.....

But Eminem will pass him eventually and I bet there will not be many recounts of Pac's sales, because in reality the "industry" needs this to happen so they can say that hip hop is thriving and not heading into obscurity as I believe it is... The stuff coming out today is not hiphop, no matter how hard they try to force feed us...

^ Around Christmas yeah? Maybe Em's Recovery album will get pushed back to the same time. lol I dought it but it would be cool to see two greats go head to head in album sales.

Em will surpass 2pac, like others have stated it's just a matter of when.

It's very unlikely that Pac will ever have another "#1" album. The last 2 albums that were released by Amaru pretty much ran off most of the Pac fans that there was and the few hardcore fans that are still left...well.....there seems to be alot if you look at the boards and shit but when you honestly think of them in album sales numbers there's nowhere near anything close to the amount of "real" Pac fans to get Pac's albums to hit number 1. Even if WideAwake releases their Pac album in complete OG form the typical "teenager" out there wont give a shit whether it's og or remixed, to them Pac is no longer "cool" and wont even give it the time of day (that's if they even know who 2pac is....trust me alot of teenagers these days dont). Amaru had a chance to make a killing with "og" albums back when they struck music gold with Changes but decided to go the remix way and pretty much destroyed Pac's legacy in the process. The only possible way i would see any Pac album hitting number one anytime in the future is if they somehow happen to release another song that will catch on like Changes did but seeing as how shitty rap is these days i highly doubt that will happen. Sad but true people!

But back to topic All Eyez On Me and Greatest Hits alone have surpassed any album that Em has released. Shit if Amaru actually gave a shit and actually had Pac's albums re-certified i wouldn't be surprised if both of those albums are double diamond by now. But yea if Em keeps releasing music he will surpass him sooner or later.

some of those past remixes i think back on them especialy ones in last 5 10 years ists unbeliavle how they dont hold up Pac from when he was alive they hold up

is r u still down the best posthumous thats what 1997
