Eminem, Snoop Dogg And Common Contribute To Tupac Novel

Eminem, Snoop Dogg and Common are among various rappers who contributed to the upcoming 2Pac novel titled Tupac Remembered: Bearing Witness to a Life and Legacy.



According to ThugLifeArmy, the book includes rare pictures of 2Pac alongside candid interviews from actors, rappers, political figures, close friends and family.



Other rappers who contributed to the book include Big Syke, Shock G, The Outlawz, E40, Talib Kweli and Treach of Naughty By Nature.

The book also includes interviews from Russell Simmons, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Maya Angelou and Baron Davis. Tupac Remembered is slated for release in February 2008.

it's probably gonna be a few nice tidbits of info, but mostly just the same bullshit you hear whenever someone brings Pac's name up in an interview. "Pac had heart", "He spoke from the soul", "He was a true soldier", etc. People's interpretations of Tupac. It's gonna be like a 2Pac tabloid in book form lol.

then why the hell he is included in that book? If he haven't met him who cares what he's got to say? He probably knows less about Pac than most members here.

It's gonna be a full book so I'm thinking there will be a LOT of "unimportant" people included in there.

Talib works with Mos Def, he worked on the first Rose project.. Now both of them, along with Common and to a slight extent Kanye have their own style. Positive, feel-good hip-hop. They're also on some real black panther type mentality shit, or used to be anyway. The stuff they talk about is shit that Tupac would probably respect greatly.

I see a clear connection so in a way it makes sense to choose Talib if you had to find someone that Pac never worked with but who shares his ideologies and way of thinking.

I'm not a huge Talib fan btw. More and more, it starts to annoy me that he pushes too many words into a line. And if no one ever said anything about it I would never have mentioned. I blame teh interweb.

yeah I know I like and respect Talib Kweli but what can he say about Pac in a book about Pac? He can just say Pac was a great rapper, was a good person(from what he heard), contributed to the movement bla bla bla
nothing more than anybody from here could say.

People who knew Pac could actually say something new. They spent months/years with Pac personally. They should know everything like what brand of tooth paste he used etc.

Unfortunately they usually decide to say all the same all the time.
