Eminem didn't do 2pac's lyrics justice. His beats were below par, they all sounded too similar and spending 3 days on a project as important as a new 2pac album was a travesty. He also chose the wrong guests and changed 2pac's words. I was far from happy and will not support that album.

Thing is...I respect Eminem for supporting Pac's legacy and trying to help promote it (let's get real, even though LTTG wasn't exactly too great, Eminem DID HAVE GOOD INTENTIONS and he does respect Pac) he has not "resurrected" Pac. Pac's legacy is actually seeming to grown stronger and stronger by the year, he has, even in death, maintained being around in the public eye and has stayed alive in the media. It's not as if Pac had "fallen off" or been "forgotten" in anyway, so therefore he can't be "resurrected".

You're outta your fucking mind. Nu-Mixx is the worst posthumous.

If you don't count that because it's basically DR's version of a GH album, then LTTG is DEFINATELY the worst posthumous. I like some of the songs off LTTG and think it's not as bad as many say it is, but it's still the Pac record I listen to least. It's ok, it just doesn't feel like a Pac record.

He wasn't "handed" the job. Matter of fact, Afeni wasn't even going to give him a chance, but she said she called Dre and Dre convinced her.

Plus, she said that a big factor in letting Em do it is that "he was the only person who told me that he would do whatever I asked of him, and didnt' end our conversation by asking me for $150,000."

According to Afeni, Eminem offered to produce the CD for free.

Based on the initial comment you made aobut him being "handed" the responsibility, I thought maybe YOU thought that just because he produced 3 of the songs from Resurrection she just "gave" Eminem the rights to produce the album. Just making sure you knew that wasn't the case, tis all.
