i think it was more an attempt at hitting two birds in one stone than anything else. even though they fucked up almost every track on the album, the real fanbase is gonna appreciate one original. at that, now they can forget about the song, it's sort of out of the way which is good, because they didn't have the master. i love the song but it doesn't really strike me as typical single material so it's not like they're losing on it, and since the song doesn't really sample anything (intentionally anyway), it's the easiest solution for everyone. it's more about that than about being nice i think.zloteklz said:well except Soon As I Get Home

Local Star said:Probably fake, but I believe that Amaru would not have contacted Prince! Like why not just blend the verse from Dumpin and Don't Sleep together on the same track?? That would sound boss!

Militant said:Who did you email? NPGMC, or Paisley Park Studios? I'm questioning your legitimacy with this, and it won't take me long to confirm it.
Especially since Prince doesn't HAVE a label currently - he does one off pressing & distribution deals with majors through his own company, but he shut down his company around 5 months ago due to a legal situation. Provide me with more evidence, and tell me exactly who you spoke to and I'll dig deeper.
your opinion about the man is yours and i'm not gonna even bother.shortcal said:Does anyone even like Militant? He really needs to give up this hardcore investigative journalist BS.
