i never really listened to elton john because for a while i was a bit ignorant.. i was thinking "oh he's gay, he can't be tight"... but then i got turned onto him and onto freddie mercury as well... elton's "indian sunset" which is the sample used in ghetto gospel is utterly amazing to me. i was looking for some tracks similar to this by elton, in which he tells a good story.

just pick up his double disc greatest hits, you won't be disappointed

yea that double disc (its all white) is just about flawless.

If you are looking for albums (other then greatest hits/best of i mean) than pick up:

goodbye yellow brick road and madman across the water are classic!!!!

Good Rule: Look for his old stuff before you look for his new stuff.

yeah i hear his old material is classic.. i don't really feel anything new because to me, he's lost his voice.. can still play a hell of a piano though

^ indian sunset isnt on any of his greatest hits though (maybe im wrong, but pretty sure im not)

its on the album "madman across the water" - whold cd is classic.
