It has been reported that Ed Lover has turned himself into the Police to answer charges relating to the alleged assault of a 26 year old woman in a New York nightclub last week.
The Power 105.1 radio DJ turned up at the 13th Police Precinct with his lawyer by his side. As we originally reported here, the alleged assault occurred at New York hot spot Duvet and left the victim with a wound to her face requiring 20 stitches.
The lawyer for the alleged victim claimed that, "the club was much more concerned about him. They didn't try to stop him. They didn't hold him. They didn't call 911."
Club management, however, denies this account of the night in question, claiming that the police were not called because the alleged victim said that she didn't want to press charges.
