i think feeley will be fine if the o-line gives him timeto throw + we have an adequate rushing attack

p.s. - boston is more than likely a salary cap casualty this year so unless he takes a major paycut, he wont be in a miami uni next year...same with seau, fiedler, knight, freeman

im just sayin i think they should focus on other parts of the team...they could improve in a lot of different positions
i heard today that it is likely the USC offensive coordinator might leave for the Tennessee Titans, in which case Leinart would enter the 'supplemental draft'...wtf is the supplemental draft?

its a draft for those that didnt register in time for the nfl draft...teams go through the same process...with most teams not actually drafting a player until the latest possible time b/c whenevr you select that player is what draft pick you lose in next years draft.

i.e. if u draft leinart in the first round of the supplemental draft, then u lose next years' first round pick

usually only one or two players per year enter the supplemental draft

it used to be more popular in the 80's and early 90's but not anymore

The Colts need a defense first before they can ever hope to go to the Super Bowl. It don't matter if Manning throws 60 TD's next year, You're never gonna get to the big game if you can't stop other teams from scoring. If I had to make a prediction now, I'd say either NE/Philly 2 or NE/Atlanta, since there's no team in the AFC that even comes close to matching the Pats defense

thanks, that cleared up a lot. I wonder where Leinart would end up...2nd round possibly?

I think Leinart will probably stay at USC despite Chow leaving, he'd get more money in the April draft than the supplemental draft

i.m.o. james would be a waste behind that o-line...they really need to concentrate on upgrading that and also thier d-line played pretty shitty last year (as far as the run game is concerned)

Miami has many more areas to be concerned with other than a RB

plus they're going to finish in last place next year so why bother wasting Edge's time?
