as for the first paragraph. i'm right/it's true. it didn't take any self analysis or life evaluations, from joking around and having some jokes that fail and some that succeed, you learn this. well, maybe you don't as you seem to think of it as some higher science (different plateau lol), but most people do.

okay, seriously? being grown up is more than aesthetic shit like what you wear and how you write. sure, those things make a difference in how you are perceived, but ultimately they are not the only qualities upon which a guess at somebody's age is based. from the things you say i can only guess you think otherwise, or else i wouldn't post this shit that "everybody knows".

if he types the way he types and is a grown-up, i'm gonna go ahead and guess there's a reason. maybe his keyboard is fucked, maybe he has compulsive obsessive disorder, maybe he's mad with rage, or maybe he has done it all his life by mere coincidence, and never changed because for the life of him he couldn't see why he should. an illiterate from africa wouldn't write very good english, so what are you saying? that illiterate people's opinions don't count like the rest? maybe EDouble is illiterate, maybe not. it's my belief that when a person who is above a certain age does a certain thing, as the sentient equal to you that he is you shouldn't question it unless you have a good reason. your reason is that it's annoying and unnecessary. to that i can only respond that the world doesn't revolve around you. again i'll suggest working on your own tolerance rather than other people's flaws (as you perceive them). it doesn't cause an actual problem, and it doesn't negate his opinions unless you have prejudices. in this case against people who type in caps lol.

basically, eric tried to pull one of those jokes where you are not meant to take it past a certain point of seriousness. what eric and many others fail to understand, though, is that for such jokes to work there is a respective limit to how persistant you can be in surveying your point. when you give an ultimatum, someone will have to respond to that.

i should note that i'm just presuming eric isn't so retarded that he's actually sincerely annoyed by how a person chooses to write. maybe instead of damning everything you disagree with, you should work with your own tolerance? lack thereof is as much a flaw and source for distress as a retardation
