Bay Area rapper E-40 is now an unofficial ambassador of the area’s "hyphy" movement, which reflects the dance, slang, fashion and car culture of the area’s youth.
The MC will promote his new hyphy album, My Ghetto Report Card, on this summer’s And 1 Mix Tape Tour, which showcases the best of playground ballers across the country. The tour kicked off Sunday (June 4) at the Home Depot Center in Carson CA and visits over 20 cites before wrapping in New York’s Madison Square Garden on Aug. 25.
A video for "U And Dat," the second release from My Ghetto Report Card, has been added to BET's Rap City and will be featured on MySpace.com this week. The rapper will also make an appearance on Jamie Kennedy's MTV series Blowin' Up on July 11 and Nick Cannon’s Wild'N Out show at the end of the summer.
