Durability of weed?

I can't smoke weed anymore but I've still got 150 grams or so. Won't sell it cause it'll cost me more money in the long run.
Currently the weed is in a ziplock, which is in a trashcan bag, which is in a taped up box.
I probably won't be able to smoke for a period of 6-12 months. Will the weed last that long without losing most of its potency or getting moldy (or whatever)? Is there is a way to make it last that long?

put it in a bag and cover it in salt to the point u cant even see the shit,it might taste salty but it will prolly make it better.

The moisture in the bag is going to cause it to mould.

The best way, but not ideal is the freezer. This will keep it the longest and stop it from moulding. But freezing bursts cells and adds to the degeneration of the weed.

Someone recomended them vacumn bags to me, or a glass jar. But I have yet to try those 2 methods.

Hard decision. Vacuum sealing the bag is your best choice IMO. Then just keep it in a dark and dry place.

anything airtight isn't bad.. a vaccuum seal or mason jars are good too.. i would probably vaccuum seal and put it in the freezer..
some tips to help keeping it in decent shape is don't get any moisture in it to avoid mold and keep it away from light since it destroys thc

Vacumm seal the bag. I think when weed gets older it gets better kinda like they say wine does. It marinates. I dont know about a year tho. Thats a long time.

Lol it definetly does NOT get better, air and light is slowly destroying your weed no matter what you do. Hence why vacuum sealing, and storing it in a dark, DRY place.
