Non-Urban Music Dubstep

heard the BBC Radio 1 show at the weekend the 'Dubstep takeover' in place of dj westwoods usual spot.

BBC Radio 1 and 1 extra dedicated like 12 hours of airplay to Dubstep music in its first ever Dubstep showdown.

Out of four cities London won the dubstep showdown with Bristol close favourite. Manchester won one round, and West Midlands was favourite vote on the best mix towards the end.

Dubstep music got good airplay now, crossing over from underground to mainstream, be good to follow and see what comes of it.

anyone else following Dubstep music?

^I've been getting into it a lot lately. Watched a documentary on it recently called Bassweight that exposed me to some of the more famous artists. Good stuff.

Out of all the genres in Electronic music at the moment, Dubstep has really exploded. It was always a popular genre but it's really gained momentum as of late. I'm not crazy about all of it, but I can listen to it for the most part.

Hizzle loves his dub-step. He asked me like 3 times if I liked dub-step as he was trashed. lol.

not really into it but i hear there are some good mashups with rappers out there. katy b is helping dubstep make that transition. Skream and Example are about to release their new single soon.

Example had a few dubstep remixes on his album. That guy is smashing it.

Not dubstep artists, but i want to see Oxide & Neutrino make comebacks!! They were the geniuses behind So Solid Crew.
