It isn't really, it's the cultures that we've created which encourage drinking 24/7 that are truly dumb.

Also, some of the most artistic things have been created while the artist was drunk, from classic records to George Best's mazy dribbling.

Yes you're right. It wouldn't be as bad if people weren't so obsessed with it.

Teen/college drinking is a big problem in america. Everyone knows someone who knows someone who died from alcohol poisoning. Kids wanna lower the drinking age from 21, but then we (might)'d have more deaths.

And sure good arts have been done, but was it truly the artist? No, it was them under the influence. It's not really them, it's the alcohol, which also makes people have more confidence and do crazier things. It's an illusion, not the truth.

All the time huh? Does that mean your an alcoholic? Anyway if you drink by yourself I hope you enjoy it, I just cant do it...

As for hangovers, two things work for me. Going back to sleep or having a BBQ or something thats greesy.
