What would your dream car be? Mine's would probably be between a Ferrari Enzo/f50, Aston Martin Vanquish and Rolls Royce Phantom. I think I'll have to add the jay-z vid batmobile to that list as well purely for the looks!

right now i have 3. a lamborghini murcielago lp640. eleanor (shelby gt500). and a baltic blue supra with a nice midsized turbo (T67) making 550rwhp on 93 octane. right now im aiming for the 3rd

I own my dream car... Although it isn't road worthy at the moment and looks like it may take 5 years.

But here's my list...

1971 Dodge Challenger
1960's Mercedes SL
Bugatti Veyron
Mercedez Benz CLK DTM
Pagoni Zonda
Koenigsegg CCX

i really got a thing for the mclaren slr.... especially that fine-tuned one from brabus.... that looks really nice... i like a lotta benzes, like the cl and the s class... the sl's are straight too..

then def. an lp640... those are just amazing, especially after top gear had it on the show.....

Day to day: RS6 estate, debadged, silver.
GT car: Ferrari, probably 599. Red or dark grey.
Thing-that-is-so-gorgeous-you'll-just-want-to-have-it-in-your-livingroom: DB9, maybe the convertible.
Fun-on-Sundays car: Torn between something fast from the Far East or something like a Morgan Aero 8, or a Wiesmann coupe.

If I only get to choose one I'll have the Fezza.

^ That Ferrari is awesome. Ironically, I was watching some program (I think it was on the Discovery Channel) about the process to make the 599 specifically, and it's so precise it's ridiculous. I didn't know that every car is also thoroughly road tested before leaving the factory.

Yeah, I know the series. Is that the one where they have an episode for three production series? One for the Ferrari, one for an Abrams tank and one for an Apache heli. Seen it, good stuff. Ferrari definitely stands for outstanding build quality. Good thing about the 599 is that they also managed to keep the weight down. And combined with that great engine, zoof, awesome car. I'd prefer it over a Veyron. I'd love to drive a Veyron for a while, but given the choice I'd rather have a nippier car than the Buggo. One thousand horse power gives you definite bragging rights in the pub and there's nothing, nothing that can touch you at the lights, but the thing weighs two tonnes. And while it handles well for a car that size and weight, I'd spend my money on something a bit more refined.

^ What I didn't like is that while it was about the 599, they kept showing the body shells of the other cars (F430 and a few Maseratis) and talking about them like it was the 599. They can't fool me.

I really liked watching the part where they assemble the engine, like how they freeze the valve rings/seals in liquid nitrogen before robot arms (the "Romeo and Juliet") install them so they can properly expand.

Haha, yeah, I noticed that too. I was watching that shit for the first time and I was ripped off a fat joint I was puffing. So they're explaining about the assembly process and I'm looking at the tube and thinking "I didnt know the car had such rear lights....". Took me a minute before figuring out they're showing 430's. Heh. Good docu, though. I love Discovery/Nat. Geo programs about cars and making cars. Disco. has a few series about the shops building customs and hot rods. Neat shit. I love the whole technical/engineering aspect of cars.
