He left N.W.A because of financial differences, they dissed him multiple times. Cube came back with No Vaseline and killed them.
Yes they're cool now. Dre eventually left for the same reason.

I've heard that and I've also heard that Cube & Eazy made up before Eazy's death, but Dre went to the hospital to make up with Eazy but Eazy was already dead.

Multiple stories I've heard, no idea what's true though. Anybody know?

Damn thats sad. No matter how much beef they had they was once friends and to not be able to say goodbye must be hard.
