What its says is that they were based on old western cartoon characters, characters that were white. but they didn't consider them as any race in particular, just as cartoons and that the same belief still stands in most anime/manga.

But the point is, the idea for these characters came from white cartoon characters, and that most characters are never drawn to be japanese.

Okay, i just saw it off a Link Carmi provided.

It was about 1 hr and 18 mins long.

If you ask me, I thought it was okay. Sort of like a spiderman 1, going into depth with the story of Goku and not a ton of action.

However, if i had to speak for the masses, I would say that no one would truly like it.

I am looking forward to the next movie, just b/c they will probably have Goku as a Super Saiyan and so forth, but if it is not good, I don't plan on seeing the 3rd.

I say, if you got an hour to spare, why not?
