piccolo's voice (james masters nailed it!)
piccolo blowing up an entire city!
piccolo in general!...
Slow mo' kick to the face.
Bulma is hot & sexy.
Goku's eyes glowing red because of... Oozaru!
The action/explosions/Kung- Fu
Chi-chi (imposter) turning back into mai
Bulma's remote control transforming into bike (caps. corp)
Roshi doing the super evil entrapment wave.
Grandpa Gohan toying with Mai right at the end!.
& ofcourse...

still yeah carmi, it def. is interesting. It's already shat on alot of comic/cartoon movies just off the trailer imo and it's only an above average action movie trailer at that!

but besides that I've always seen most anime characters as Japanese, including Goku. Unless the characters are all emo they often have Japenese styled-hair.

It is taken for granted that most anime characters (unless otherwise stated) are Japanese. As far as why they have big, round eyes, the answer is that most anime as we know it is influenced by the work of one man. Osamu Tezuka who is known as the "father of anime," kind of the Walt Disney of anime in a way. And, actually, as a kid Tezuka was inspired by Disney's early works like Steamboat Willie and Fleischer's Betty Boop. So, when he began drawing, to him the big round faces and round eyes were just a characteristic of cartoon characters in general, those things were not meant to be a comment on ethnicity. They still are not. As far as hair/eye color. Well, a lot of Japanese people have brown hair rather than black, and lots lighten their hair. Otherwise, I think that it's just done to make things interesting.

As for this film, its not based on DBZ, its set jut after DB, but before DBZ. Fox have the rights to all 3 chapters. The sequal will be based on DBZ and the following on DBGT. I can't wait to see him go SSJ, and I especially can't wait to see him go to SSJ4.

Yeah none of the story lines will be accurate to what happens in the manga/anime. The basics will be there, thats why Piccolo is the bad guy in this, as he was in Dragonball, but none of this happened in the original story. Im guessing the next one will feature Vegeta as the bad guy. Im guessing the 3rd will probably have Shenron as the bad guy.

This movie will suck big time. It'll be like the Street Fighter movie.

This movie is about the first Piccolo. I dunno if they'll bring in his son in the next one, if so... we should be seeing Tien...

I was hoping they'd start at the Saiyen Saga right away, but I guess they have to introduce what the Dragon Balls are actually for, cause after the Saiyen Saga, thsoe stupid balls are pretty useless and it's all about who gets stronger and blows more shit up. lol
