Rap mogul DR. DRE is planning for his retirement with a vault full of unreleased magic, according to pal BUSTA RHYMES. As the world waits for the reclusive producer's delayed DETOX album - his first release for six years - Rhymes reveals the rapper's biggest problem is deciding which tracks to release from his archive. Rhymes admits Dre has a "vault" of impressive rap material dating all the way back to his N.W.A. beginnings that will become his legacy. He says, "Dre got a big safe with a big combination lock. Unbelievable s**t is in that vault - over 20 years of s**t from (late N.W.A. bandmate) EAZY-E and (record label) Death Row days. "He's created so many things he never put out."

i doubt he has some 2pac tracks in his vault but who knows.anyway i'm still waiting for this to come out.unreleased eazy-e tracks.maybe some 2pac, dpg, snoop, lady of rage stuff.i feel tingly all over :D

if i remember about pac's beef with (like suge blowin up his shit), was that he said dre didn't produce anymore....he let others do the work and if it hit he'd take the credit.....or something like that...so i doubt if he has any pac work.....and that "vault" is only INSTRUMENTALS....i remember dre talking about it somewhere on mtv, how he had maddddddd amounts of DAT....laying around somewhere........

instrumentals or full songs..doesnt matter..this will be worth the wait for sure...his old material is way better then the work hes putting out now (which is..nothing at all)...

i guess you could move this to the streethop forum... seeing that it has changed direction... are there still mods on this site??

he says he has eazy e/nwa and death row tracks. why would he release instrumentals from the 80's and 90's without unreleased vocals that were recorded on the beats

If Dre does in fact have his masters from the DR days, he should go through and put out anything of quality. Especially if anything is left from the old days with Snoop in particular.

It would sell without question.
