I love this OG. It has that old school mid-ninties feeling that made me love Pac in the first place. I bet most ppl who hate on it are 18 or younger. No offence. Just like your parents listening to old "out-dated" music and that´s how it should be with Tupac and you. Just leave it OG and keep that original vibe of the song instead of trying to fit it in today´s music.

After all they don´t remix old Beatles songs to make them more appealing and they don´t "update" Van Gogh´s paintings. So please leave Pac´s music in it´s original form.

Gotta agree wit ya. I like the OG, the chorus has that funny feel (early 90's) when brothas was wearin cross colors and shit.

If they were gonna remix it, than they should have at least took the same approach as RU Still Down, and keep it old school style and not fuck w/Pac's voice. There was a rumor about Janet Jackson possibly being on a remix (that would of been tight).

Although, i will admit, I don't have a problem with them remixing his later songs(mostly songs from '96) because those songs were gonna be released in the coming years, so Pac probably would have tweaked them.

Exactly. I like the chorus cause it fits so well. The whole vibe of that song is like that. Plus it starts to grow on you after a couple times. She´s not that bad of a singer. Just when she starts "not that i don´t trust you..." she kinda misses the first key.

Right, it's kinda like a fun song, vs. being overly emotional like Eminem's version. I also like how the beat changes during the chorus part (oooh, oooh, oooh, etc.) you know what i mean.

Eminem's version would of been alright, if Pac had of sung in that speed in the first place, but to alter his speed, you can hear some parts during the song that Pac sounds kinda slow/retarded because of it.

anybody who says the OG is better then the new one NEEDS THEIR HEAD EXAMED...

and this is coming froma long time tupac listener, since 1992.... I mean this...anyone who thinks the OG is better then the new one needs a check-in at a mental hospital.

It is, when you consider Eminem not only remixes the song, but remixes Pac also. There's nothing left to trace the song back to its roots, at least with the OG, you hear what Pac was thinking at the time of recording, and what mood he intended it to be.

If you gonna strip the man's work down like that and mix-n-match verses, then it's pointless, you might as well put a different artist on there. Pac was a different type of rapper at the time this was recorded, the song is part of his evolution as a rapper, I understand Eminem wanted to make it a ballad, but the tempo had to be altered to do it...

oh well, i feel like a broken record.... peace

For anybody who loves early (2pacalypse Now-Strictly era) 'Pac this track is a gem. Classic Deon Evans production. The track seems like it's missing something (maybe a proper mix down?) as Pac's vocals just don't mesh with the beat as a released track would, but it's dope nonetheless. :thumb:
