Dog Dies After Cop Stops Couple Speeding To The Vet Clinic

It's kinda fucked up but yeah the cop was right. Especially considering the hysterical behaviour of those people. American police is often very wary of raving loonies, drunks, crackheads and John Rambo's with enough guns-n-ammo in the back of their truck to start WW3. They were careful. On the whole I'd say they were both wrong, though. The couple for speeding that much and being all hysterical instead of trying to explain rationally, the cop for, well, being a fucking jerk.

The cop's mistake was not pulling them over, it was taking his sweet ass time to make a point.

That's what I'm saying. Although you can't really blame the cop for being cautious for pulling over an excessively speeding vehicle and seeing a very distraught and confused man come out screaming all kinds of things. It's America.

so this happened where I live and it has been getting a lot of attention. yeah the cop was kind of an ass but it is only a dog. Traffic here is horrible and driving that fast on the highway is just stupid. I don't want some asshole losing control of his car and hitting me because his dog is choking. Plus the dog died during the stop which was only 20 minutes. they were more than 20 minutes away from the vet so it would have died anyway.
