Does Anybody Else Sleep With The TV On?

i don't...i used to, but i'd always have on sportscenter or comedy central and i'd hear something interesting or funny and i'd wake back up to watch

The only time I fall asleep with the tv on is when i'm really tired, then I just fall asleep slowly. But when I go to bed on a regular night when i'm not really exausted, I turn the tv off. It's usually kinda distracting when trying to sleep sometimes.

What the...if the replies in this thread are even slightly representative of the western world it's no damn wonder we're ripping through our energy stores faster than a 200lbs kid through candy bars.

save some goddamn energy. turn all those appliances off. find a hobby. get a goldfish.

Nothing wrong with batteries, lol. I was referring to leaving serious power consuming things such TV's on for extended periods of time without actually using the damn thing.

Leaving it on for the noise is just.....well, i'm not gonna say it

Nope. But if we continue at this pace it'll take only about 5/6 generations.

Well, then we still got a lot of coal but that's not exactly great stuff either.

I used to sleep with the tv on when I was a little girl and I was afraid of the dark and the house being so silent... but now I prefer to save energy really

I just noticed something. Why do females always say "when I was a little girl" and males always say "when I was a little kid." And how come when you say "there was this kid" or "this kid i know" people always assume it's a male?

But anyway i always turn the TV off and put on the stereo. Sometimes i have to turn that off cuz i can't fall asleep. It keeps me awake.

But whenever I do fall asleep with the TV on, there's always some weird shit on when I wake up in the middle of the night. I hate that.

Peace.
