if you can tip, you should. the reason they're called "tips" is "To Insure Proper Service" (that's where it came from), so if you want the job done right, tip. if they do a bad job, don't tip well (or at all) and hopefully they'll get the point. that is Insuring Proper Service.

barbers i usually give 2-3 dollars for a 12 dollar haircut
taxi's like 3-5 extra bucks for a medium-long ride
baggage guys at the airport or hotel like 4-5 bucks a bag


i'm rich so i don't give a fuck about giving out money...they deserve it more that me in most cases
