I hate to tip taxi drivers, it's like 8,20$ and the guy is telling me uou gotta give me 9$. Wtf the taxi driver is deciding himself that he deserves a tip, that's why I'm taking the bus everytime, go to hell taxi drivers!

It's their job. You don't HAVE to tip, but people find it necessary.

If you tip a waiter/waitress, hairstylist etc, then why shouldn't every other working person get a tip?

In China, if you tip a waitress or waiter, they get deeply offended. They understand what their job is and it's an insult to them to give them extra money. These people made it their choice to pick the line of work they're in, so they should deal with getting their weekly salary, just like everybody else

In resteraunts yes, normally 10% if im out with my mates. Taxi drivers keep the change, as do pizza delivery mostly

Well, the way I see it, they are paid to do the job. Why should I pay them extra? I mean, nobody gives me a tip when I show them where the mayo is at Fred Meyer, or when I go check in the back whether we still have left over product.

You don't have a job, yet you tip. How does that happen? Also, giving a pizza guy a 10 dollar tip is really careless, but it's your life, your money.

I know what its like to work for tips. So yeah I tip. I tip like crazy sometimes. Whne its delivery drivers, I always tip good because I've delivered for 3 major pizza places and know how shitty the job can be. Waiters/waitresses I can never not tip them. Most of them,even the ones at pizza hut, make like 2 bucks an hour, and that's if they are lucky.

I can understand people saying "it's their job...." But I don't think those people have ever worked for tips.

I hate tipping cab drivers. I never know what to give them so it is usually like 10 bucks.
