Do you think its possible to rape a man?

Why does everyone here think a guy's penis has to be involved for it to be rape?Rape is a violent act, not a sexual one.

your right basically its a fine line between rape and sexual harassment anything that involves the person not consenting already is a minor case of rape how far it goes after that it another level.

Let me revise my definition: Rape is a violent act of a sexual nature. But the sexual part of it is just another context for what is essentially an act of power and control, not of sexual gratification.

Because they read my initial post and the question which was being asked in regards to rape in a narrow sense (involving a man's penis and a lack of consent).

And ghosty - it's not about gratification. You used the example of a woman's nipple getting hard - that happens by touch NOT necessarily by arousal. Similarly, the question which I asked, which Calcuo answered, was that erection can also occur irrespective of arousal, by touch/stimulation. Therefore it is possible to rape a man if there is a lack of consent - it does not matter that he got an erection or, even that he may have came - it can still be rape.

Lazarus - lol. I'm not a freak.... somebody has to ask these questions!

So you don't consider having sex with a child rape if the child was talked into it?
nope. i'd call it sexual abuse. maybe that's almost like rape, but almost done doesn't mean you're done. if i talk you into giving me 10 bucks that doesn't mean i stole 10 bucks from you, does it? arguably, if a grown man tries to talk a 12 year old girl, or any girl for that matter, into having sex with him and she doesn't go along with it, it might get to the point where the man rapes the girl. that doesn't mean it's rape if she goes along with it though. it's sexual abuse because he is taking advantage of her, but it's not rape because he is not forcing her.

and if you're trying to make me look like a sicko who doesn't think having sex with a child is "as bad" as rape, you can just drop it lol. i put rape and sexual abuse in the same booth. technically, i don't think it's the same though. as a far-out-there comparison, i don't think someone who smokes weed should be punished as a criminal, in the same manners people who use violence, rapists and killers are. all of them are criminals as stated by the law, but if you get technical, smoking weed doesn't hurt anyone but yourself, while most other crimes (theft, robbery, violence, murder) does in one way or another. okay, that was a bad comparison, but you get my point.

yeah a woman can rape a man as a man can rape a woman. why man can rape us and us we cant? we can too.

I think u got the 2 mixed up IMO. Sexual abuse too me is more the actually abusin someone, more violent, where as rape is takin advantage of sumone, not neccisarily physically forcing them. But thas jus IMO
