Ive once said LOL in person. I felt pathetic, I however redeemed myself by saying the more cooler LAWL.

I knew someone who would say lol and I was like wtf. Then I started joking about it saying it myself until I started using it often and stopped before someone thinks that it's part of my vocabulary.
