I may be wrong.. but i'm guessing it's because the personality the girls have online is similar to the one they have in real life? And in real life they wouldn't go around calling each other names at any small hint of a disagreement or misunderstanding so it remains civil? Whereas with the guys here.. I think they are more likely to "act out" in ways they wouldn't ordinarily do in real life.

Just occasionally trim them with scissors, or if I'm really lazy, just use the nail clipper when cutting my nails to "clip" my hair.
