Sometimes I just hate it here. I hate that people misunderstand my point of view and I hate that it takes up my time. lol.

Sometimes I want to leave and can for several days, at which point I actually do study and get out and see everyone and do all the things I like to do, reading or exercising or whatever.

Then I get sucked back in.... I just gotta check that my forums are in control and taken care of.....then 3 hours later I remember why I cant stand it coz I see beef here, freeposting there or a sleazy sexist remark about me here, a blantant disrespect for my point of view there...

Still it is compromised by the fact that I like to read what certain people have written, the people who are nice and the ones that raise interesting topics.... damn you coz I could have left a long time ago...lol.

Just felt like saying that.

I hate having to explain myself over & over because people have little to no background knowledge on certain things. I hate it when I point people to go down a certain route in my debate but because of their aforementioned lack of knowledge they fail to do it.

Beef doesn't really bother me too much. Usually it's playful-esque shit. Otherwise it's usually prolonged by stubborness & can be easily remedied by just not responding. However, sometimes potential beef is hard to walk away from.

Freeposting is something which can ruin a good topic I know, but other times it is comical & can keep the board ticking over when times get really slooooow.

Sleazy sexy remarks? Umm, I don't really give nor receive any so I won't comment.

Blatant disregard for your P.O.V? I rarely see that happen except when it's some sexist shit in DFL.

That final comment is why you keep coming back. You are provided the opportunity to voice your opinion. :thumb:

Edit: Weirdly enough, while in DFL there, I noticed that one of those who disregards your opinions quite a bit (bigmack......no offence man lol) actually just told you he respects one of your opinions...ironic.

^ Yeah but freeposting and beef probably wouldnt affect everyone because posters dont have the responsibility like mods do to respond or prevent it from happening. It is annoying that we cant come on the board and always laugh along, or post whatever. We have to read the threads (all or at least most in our forums) to check that they are ok, they are on track... often it takes away the fun.

The sleazy remarks are simply said in fun, I understand that, but at the same time I dont like it because everyone knows I have a boyfriend and regardless of whether he reads it or not, I dont like being commented on simply because I'm one of the token females around here.

I'm not the only one who's point of view isnt respected - it happens to all of us and probably wont ever be rectified.... still it is just frustrating when it happens. And yeah, I did notice bigmack say that and I did appreciate it very much. But I dunno if it's just because I am a stubborn minded Aquarian, I dont like that people dont understand or seek to understand where you are coming from.

And yes, I do like that we are all given the space to voice our opinions....especially good for people like me who often hold back sharing it in real life, lol. I guess it is just a love-hate relationship.

Surely you notice it too Calcuo, you're here as much if not more than I am.... doesnt it detract all your attention from other things to the point where sometimes you just wanna smash your computer? Or is that really just me..... lol.

I wish I could leave.

I hate Life. HATE THE LIFE FORUM. Because to me, 90% of the people in there are not fans of Tupac, they just like the music. They dont understand what Pac stood for or the world he grew up in and lived in. They cant comprehend the Black Panther Party, or the Code of Thug Life or anything like that. They dont understand what Hip-Hop was back like then, and just can not understand the grand scope of Tupac's mentality and life. The kids in there are only 2Pac fans because they like the music, and the majority of them do not even take the time to understand what the music MEANS, they just like the way it sounds.

I remember in the late 90s when we were all kids, so age doesnt excuse ignorance, people like myself, Jon, G, Dante and other OGs would actually DISCUSS things that mattered, like Tupac's political outlook, the impact of his life, the plite of the African American's and Black Panthers, making a change (that is why Words Of Wisdom was created,) now we get posts about Tupac's muscles.

Its the same scale of bullshit that Tupac pointed out in his highschool interview where he said "we should have classes on why theres poverty, a real sex education class, a class on drugs, a class on real politics, a class on police brutality, a class on apartheid , but no, instead we have a class on... Gym."

The threads in Life nowadays are that Gym class. Pac woulda hated most of ya all because you dont THINK.

Definately understand that Rukas, which is why I have rarely posted in that forum. I'm really surprised and disappointed by the standard in there... I've understood tupac and hip hop generally to be about rectifying and exposing social injustice. It is a reflection of a particular way of life, one that we each have in ourselves to change... not about who has what rare track or whatever superficial bullshit people use to detract from the real messages that reflect the whole purpose of who he was and what he represented. But we can all do something about that. I am writing something about along those lines, which I'll show soon.

True, true, I am carefree on the board....until someone steps on my toes :)

I don't see this letting up until you stop posting your photos & get one of those Men In Black thingies & memory flash us.

Always looking on the positive side, I'll say at least the board doesn't stray too far away from reality. That is, there's sexism in society so there's sexism on TB.

Even though it angers my impatient self, I don't think it's right that me, or anyone else, gets pissed off when someone genuinely doesn't understand somethign. Then, some do reeeeeeeally test the patience.

But of course if someone blatantly disrespects your opinion with no justification & has no interest in trying to improve communication then you should walk away or report them to a mod...like yourself. ;)

What you mods do from then on, I dunno.

Life itself is a love-hate relationship. :)

The only place it really gets on my nerves is in Life or in WoW. Totally different ends of the intelligence spectrum you would think, but there is something constant that resonates - the ignorance.

Elsewhere it doesn't bother me. I can outclown these clowns. :D

Edit: And yeah Rukas, I know Life is bent at times. I agree with basically all you said but I didn't like where you said, Pac woulda hated most of ya all because you dont THINK......regardless of it's truth, the essence of it is such a Life poster's comment!! :D

Did you try to promote something with your music?
Tupac: Yes.

Yes? What did you try to promote?
Tupac: Think, use your head.

I cant remember the exact quote, its on the Res DVD bonus section, its the deposition.

All Pac wanted to do was make people THINK and through that spark a change, threads in life dont do that. Pac would of hated them.

Yeah I know it's the jail interview where, having failed to get Tupac to admit he promote anything negative, he then asked him if he was trying to do anything & yeah, I think you got Tupac's words spot on although I don't know about the interviewer.

My point was only the whole "Tupac would/wouldn't like this or that" attitude that plagues Life.

That's why I acknowledged the truth in what you said, but had to point out that the comment you made about Tupac disliking "them" had an air of the Life forum about it. I was half-joking.

..man don't u know that one of the most important questions of the year so far, is 'would Pac like 50 cent' !!

Amara you will get sleazy sexual comments. Because you are attractive, and such is life. Especially when you are hiding behind a computer. It's very easy to type something you'd have no intention of saying in real life.

The Life Forum... Don't get me started. I hate that forum. And find myself getting dragged into dumb posts and actually becoming a part of it. I can feel my IQ lowering.

And yeah. I understand Amara's comment about modding. I get called a NAzi etc. And power crazed for following the rules and closing crap posts. Not that I care. But the nasty PM's hurt. ;) It seems people care about their threads an insane amount. Probably because they have no real life then their net life is so important.

if my job didnt require using the computer 20 hours a day i would be damned if i ever visited a forum. i just dont know how you guys do it(the ones who have outside jobs,etc...) i couldnt picture myself having more than a hundred posts then.

I used to sit on the net all day at work. Spent 8 hrs on TB. Now I have more responsibility I have less time. But I still spend a couple of hours a day on TB. When I'm bored or when I need to unwind after a stressful day TB is ideal.

LoL I thought you were talking about reality and I was about to agree. :)..... but about tp? Nope. I live a life anyway, so it happens that I can't be online for 3 days in a row anyway (I'm usuall somewhere drunken and high during this time) ... so, nope I barley have negativ feelings towards tp.

Rukas I think your the one who takes Pac too seriously you make it sound like he was trying to lead a revolution of some kind an was the last savour for our corrupted world. At the end of the day he was just a rapper/man that liked to express his feelings through his music hoping that maybe it would someway influence the listener to think for a second on what is relevate in life, what truly matters.
Don’t we all want the best for the world what separates Pac from any over person or artist?
Didn't pac say rap was becoming way to political anyway an thats why he wanted to have more acting roles :thumb:

Man, I really can't stand the judgement on others by placing them in boxes like "the whole Life-forum is shit, 90% of the people who post there just don't understand what tupac stood for".
Who are you to judge some1 so much?
I posted a lot in that forum lately, and I don't like those stupid threads about 'his favourite food' , 'how much he worked out' either. But who are you to say that 90 % don't understand the message.. When I take a look at the Life-forum now ('would tupac support the Iraq-war?'), I understand what you mean though.. But than you have to ban the whole Life-forum and all members who post sort of stupid threads.

I really care about tupac's message and I feel like there are a lot of subjects still relevant today and are something to think about, especially with today's rapmusic.
But putting others in little boxes and judge others, was not tupac's message, but think and talk/debate about it. And that's what this forum is about..

Lol man.Relax.You could've been under the 10% before you posted this.

Take away the life forum.

Too extreme. This board is still about 2pac. And is still the best 2pac board.

It's just new fans are too young to fully appreciate the man behind the music. And won't remember what it was like when 2pac was alive. Totally different to now. Think 50 Cent with talent. But 2pac had all the haters 50 has, and was always being called a fake thug. And challenged to prove how real he was. I'm rambling and off topic. But anyway...

Keep the life forum. It's keeps most numpty's out of streethop. And after all I like some of the posts in there.
