It appears that DMX is not just missing court dates, his attendance is lacking at tour dates too.
The rapper had made an agreement with the United States Organisations (USO) to tour Iraq for one week in a series of performances to boost soldier morale.
He delayed his departure from August 22nd by one day. But on August 23rd he failed to show up for the flight to Kuwait.
John Hanson of the USO spoke of DMX’s actions:
"We are extremely disappointed that DMX decided not to complete the tour he asked us to arrange for him.When we announced this tour, troops were extremely excited about the possibility of seeing a performer they admired. We understand their disappointment."
"Typically, it takes up to 45 days to arrange transportation, housing, production assistance and country clearances for entertainment tours. This tour was put together in just under two weeks, because we know how much service men and women appreciate his performances. Mr. Simmons let a lot of people down."
