Rapper DMX just can't seem to get it together. He was arrested Monday (June 23) in Miami on a warrant for not having a valid driver's license.
According to the Associated Press, the 37-year-old rapper (real name: Earl Simmons) was picked up Monday afternoon at around 1:30 PM for the warrant.
X was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on Monday afternoon, as of 5:30 PM. His bond is set at $500.
As of late, the rapper has been in and out of the news for a string of arrests. The most recent came in early May when he was officially charged with suspicion of drug possession and animal cruelty, following a seven-month investigation in which police discovered 12 pitbulls, described as "distressed," during raids of his Arizona home.
He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Days before, he was arrested after traffic cameras caught him speeding down a Phoenix freeway at 114 mph in January. He was charged with reckless driving, two counts of endangerment, three counts of speeding and driving on a suspended license.
