Did anyone from england see him at the jazz cafe last night??
Iw as there and it was really weird. He came on about an hour late, and was supposed to go from 11-2. However he only did from like 12- 1.15. It was really fucked up. He played only about 8 hip hop tracks all the rest were from the 80's, and earlier, stuff like the OJ's and jackson 5. It Seemed like he was forced to cut it short. As he finished with pharoahe simon says, and dead prez hip hop.......since when do you end a set like that!!!! Also some bloke came on stage and, then 2 tracks later it was over.... It really pissed me up, and he certainly looked pissed off.
For those interested he played some ridiculous songs... Biggie unbelievable, royce boom, gangstarr above the clouds, Jeru the damaja come clean, hip hop hooray by nbn, pharoahe simon says, deadprez hip hop, nas is like!!!!
Shame it did not last longer. He is by far the best producer out there
