DJ/Mixing

I know this should be in tech talk but I looked at the posts and i dont see many people who mix post in there.

Ok i been on the board for almost a year (forget what my join date says) and i wanna take a shot at mixing some Pac shit! Can someone let me know what programs yall use or what programs would be good for beginners? Are they free a download or do I have to pay for them? Any help is mad appreciated.. :thumb:

I Started off using Acid Pro Version 4.0 about 2years ago man & now Using Acid Pro 6.0 which i find very easy to use....

Or you can Try Soundforge or VirtualDj which ever suits you best Dawg :thumb:

so you dont really want to dj and mix as in turntablism you want to make computer beats and remixs? most people just use fruity loops. if you are serious and have a little bit of money get some real equipment. reason is a good program to make beats it just takes a little bit of knowledge of signal flow but l know people that make some decent shit in there.

I use FL and Sony Acid Pro. I think it's a good idea to use if you're just starting out with mixing and beat making so you can familiarize yourself with everything.

I could never figure out how to use FL, but Reason is the dogs bollox for making tunes.

I suggest using Atomix Virtual DJ especially if you want to learn about turntables. It beats the shit out of wave editing :thumb:
