That is the worst analogy of all time. It doesn't even make sense.

My music is my career. It puts food on my table, it feeds my family. Yes, I'd be pissed off if a tour got postponed because that means less money that month. But there's always other shows that are just as important. So I wouldn't let the postponing of a show or tour affect my mood for more than a couple of minutes.

Whereas, some football-obsessed people I know are literally depressed for DAYS if their team loses. They cry and all sorts, despite the fact that (unless they put money on it), the outcome of this game has no direct effect on their personal situation whatsoever. And it's selfish of them to be depressed about it, because other people around them might not care, and don't want that person to be depressed.

Well its selfish of the people around the person that is depressed to not want that person depressed.

Nothing wrong with being depressed when your club or national NT loses.
You follow your team from day 1, and you invest your time, passion, and many times money (Merchandise, match tickets, etc), it is only normal you'd feel upset.
One of my friends is a die hard Gooner, her bf is a die hard Liverpool fan. She didn't talk to him for 2 weeks after Liverpool beat Arsenal in the CL. Funniest thing ever, but then again, I understand it, and he didn't blame her either for it.

When you know your football, you understand it's passion. All clubs we support have a little something we can relate to, something we can call our own. If it's for it's past, your hometown, the area, political allignment or whatever. People connect to it.
That is what's hard for North American sports like hockey or baseball (with exceptions in certain teams) clubs, they get sold and bought over and over again. You have no stability. Also, they don't seem very passionnate (with exceptions once again)

It's something I fear many people can't understand.

Adriano is not better than Kaka or at the same level. Kaka is a player of the year.

Nah Rahim, there is no comparison between Kaka and Adriano. Kaka is different class and is the best player in the world imo. Adriano career has gone of the rails over the past few years. His father died and he developed a drink problem. He was shipped out to Sao Paolo on loan by Inter Milan. He is back with them now and hopefully he has put his problems behind him. Jose Mourinho will surely get the best out of him.

Ze Roberto is too old now as well. I think he is 36. He is a good player though and i thought he was Brazil's best performer at the 06 World Cup.

comparing weight class or not, adriano does have a lot of potential.. and i still think he is at the same level as kaka, he just hasn't been recognized or proved that yet or stood out from it u know
