Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been hit with a lawsuit following an alleged incident on the eve of the Oscar awards.
The lawsuit was filed on behalf of Gerald Rechnitzer. It states that after the awards ceremony, when Mr. Rechnitzer was at the Roosevelt Hotel, Diddy “unlawfully attacked, assaulted and battered him.”
According to Mr. Rechnitzer he return from the bathroom to find his girlfriend chatting to Combs. After asking his partner to join him, Diddy allegedly said “What the fuck you looking at dude?”
It is then alleged that shortly thereafter Diddy said “I’ll smack the flames out of your ass!”, punched Mr. Rechnitzer in the face and then “intentionally, wilfully and knowingly pushed [Mr. Rechnitzer’s] girlfriend and attempted to spit on another female member of [Mr. Rechnitzer’s] group."
Although there is no official comment yet from the Bad Boy camp, an attorney for Mr. Rechnitzer said “At no time was [Mr. Rechnitzer], who is five feet, seven inches tall with a slim build, ever a threat to [Mr. Combs]."
The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages.
